Warner Music Group (WMG) CFO and COO Armin Zerza is stepping down “for personal reasons effective immediately,” the company announced on Friday (July 31).
Louis Dickler, who currently serves as senior vp and global controller and chief accounting officer at WMG, will serve as acting CFO, while Warner Records co-chairman and COO Tom Corson is set to replace Zerza in the COO role.
Zerza was named CFO of WMG in April 2025, having previously served as the CFO of Activision Blizzard. WMG said in a statement on his exit that Zerza will be available through the end of the company’s fiscal year to help “ensure a seamless transition.”
“Armin has been an instrumental leader and member of the executive team during a crucial period of growth and transformation,” said WMG CEO Robert Kyncl in a statement on his departure. “We thank Armin for his outstanding business and financial leadership and enduring contributions to WMG, and we wish him all the best.”
WMG says it has already kicked off a search for Zerza’s replacement. That individual will become the music company’s third CFO since 2023.
Prior to Zerza taking over the top financial job in 2025, former Disney and ESPN CFO Bryan Castellani held the role.
Dickler also previously served as WMG’s CFO starting in November 2021, when longtime then-CFO Eric Levin was on medical leave. Dickler “brings extensive financial expertise and deep knowledge of WMG’s operations, ensuring continuity and stability across the company’s financial operations,” according to a press release.
