Taylor Swift had a little bit of bad blood with her brother-in-law after Jason Kelce startled the pop star and Travis Kelce early in the morning for a “f–ked up” reason.

On the latest episode of New Heights posted Wednesday (Oct. 21), the brothers began by discussing the retired Philadelphia Eagles center’s current fitness regimen — something he’s taking so seriously, he brought his own weights to Travis and Swift’s home while visiting them in Kansas City. At one point during Jason’s stay, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end says he was just waking up when he got “a call at 7:30 in the morning” from his sibling during Jason’s workout that immediately sent Travis into crisis mode.

“In my mind, I’m thinking worst-case scenario,” Travis recalled. “I’m like, ‘Oh, s–t. Is everything OK? Maybe after the run Jason’s in the hospital, he blew his knee out or something.’ The brain was just waking up.”

As it turned out, Jason sounded the alarm for a much less urgent reason: He wanted Travis to come spot him. Ever the obliging younger brother, Travis got up to go help.

“I’m walking out of the room, and Taylor’s like, ‘This is f–ked up,’” the Grotesquerie star quipped as he and Jason laughed. “And I’m just like, ‘Nah, it’ll be good. It’ll be good!’” Travis added as he and Jason cracked up.

It’s all love, of course, between the brothers and Swift, who officially joined the family in early July with her wedding to Travis at Madison Square Garden. In addition to sister-in-law, the musician — who is currently at the top of both the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200 with “Patient Zero” and The Life of a Showgirl, respectively — has also embraced the title of aunt to Jason’s four daughters with Kylie Kelce.

“When they got to meet Aunt Tay Tay, they were calling her ‘Taylor Swift,’” Travis recalled on New Heights in September, calling the girls’ habit “adorable.”

“‘Taylor Swift, can I do this? Taylor Swift!’” Jason said, mimicking his girls. “You can call her ‘Taylor.’”
