Following the surprising news of Jelly Roll filing to divorce Bunnie Xo after 10 years of marriage, fans have been desperate to know how the beloved former couple is doing. But, for her part, the Dumb Blonde host says she’s seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
In a somewhat cryptic post on her Instagram Story on Monday night (June 15) — hours before reports first hit that the country star had moved to legally end their union — Bunnie shared a smoldering photo of herself in full glam, modeling a set of pink lingerie. Paired with Metric’s “Help I’m Alive,” the post reads, “She’s getting her sparkle back.”
Also on Monday, the podcaster posted a video of herself singing and dancing along to Nickelback’s heartbreak anthem “How You Remind Me,” calling it a “Banger” in her caption.
Neither Jelly nor Bunnie have officially commented on the breakup, which was first reported by TMZ. Court documents obtained by Billboard show the Grammy winner first filed for divorce on May 18 in Williamson County, Tenn., near where the exes shared a home. Their language in the records describes their split as a mutual decision based on a private family matter. Bunnie will continue coparenting teenage stepdaughter Bailee, with whom she shares custody alongside Jelly, as well as his younger son, Noah, from a previous relationship.
The singer and influencer first met in 2015 and tied the knot the following year. They’ve been open about their ups and downs over the course of their relationship, including Jelly’s past infidelity.
Over the past year or so, the couple had also documented their hopes to welcome children together through IVF.
