Listeners voted in a poll published Friday (Oct. 2) on Billboard, choosing Monét’s sophomore full-length LP as their favorite new music.

The album topped new Friday music releases from Noah Kahan, Miranda Lambert, Drake and more. By the poll’s closing time on Sunday, Monét pulled in 40% of the vote.

Fans first got a taste of Frequency of Love, Monét’s follow-up to Jaguar II, through three early singles, “Let Me,” “Reach Out” and “Juicy.” The 22-track collection officially arrived on Oct. 2.

The album has a number of intriguing features, including one from her own daughter — who got a special shout-out from the singer on social media this weekend for her contribution to the song “You Mean the World to Me”: “Thank you for your patience and understanding and unconditional love while mommy was in school, while I made this album, every time I had to step out of the door without you and when work didn’t end once I got back home!” Monét wrote to 5-year-old Hazel on Saturday. “I am so honored to have you as a feature on this album (you sound soooo beautiful) and I am so proud of your growth in every way, your natural empathy, your humor, your respect, the way you love and your undeniable talent! Forevemore, it’s you and me baby.”

“You Mean the World to Me” also features Leon Thomas. Also on Monét’s new album: Lucky Daye, SZA, Bryson Tiller, Chlöe and Bruno Mars, whose Romantic Tour recently had Monet booked as a supporting act.

Following her spot as an opener on the road with Bruno Mars, she’s embarking on her own headlining Frequency of Love Tour this month, starting Oct. 27 in Raleigh, N.C., and running through mid-December.

Trailing behind Frequency of Love on the poll are Noah Kahan’s new single “Draw You Out,” with 29% of the vote, Miranda Lambert’s Crisco album, with nearly 7% of the vote, and Drake’s HABIBTI (FOMO) deluxe release, with almost 6% of the vote.
